Creating WBS Categories

Create WBS categories to organize, filter, and report WBS information in all projects.

To create WBS categories:

  1. On the  Navigation Menu, expand  Administration and click Enterprise Data.
  2. On the Enterprise Data page, expand Projects and click WBS Category.
  3. On the WBS Category page:
    1. Click  Add.
    2. In the Category field, double-click and type a name.
    3. Click Save.

Tip

  • To change a category value, double-click it, then type a new name. The change applies to all projects to which the WBS item is assigned.
  • If you change the WBS category, the category's values or value assignments do not change.
