Creating Activity Code Values for Activities

You can quickly create activity code values in the Activity Codes detail window.

To create activity code values on the Activities page:

  1. On the  Navigation Menu, expand  Projects and click Activities.
  2. On the Activities page, select an activity and click the Codes detail window.
    1. In the Codes detail window, click Assign....
    2. In the Assign Activity Codes panel:
      • Select the Global, EPS, or Project option for a list of activity codes.
      • Select an activity code to which you will add the value.
      • Click  Add  and select Code Value.
      • In the Code Value field, enter a value for the code.
      • In the Code Description field, enter a description for the code.
      • Click Add Code Value.

Tip

  • In the Code Value field, you must enter a value that is unique across the project.
  • You can also create activity code values from the Enterprise Project Data page or the Codes Panel.
