Status Updates dialog box (P6 EPPM only)

Use the Status Updates Dialog Box to review status updates your team members made to their assigned activities. On this page you can filter data to show pending, held, and rejected status updates and group the view by project. You can scroll to view multiple status update cards and can scroll within a card to see the fields that have been changed during the update. You can select one or more cards to approve, reject, hold, or override the status update.

Search: Type part or all of a project name or ID to filter the list of projects.

Group By: Choose to group the list by Projects, Resources, or Review type.

Project List: Select the projects for which you want to review status updates.

Pending: Choose to filter the card list to status updates in pending state.

Held: Choose to filter the card list to status updates in held state.

Rejected: Choose to filter the card list to status updates in rejected state.

Refresh: Click to refresh the list of status updates.

Approve: Sets the status of all selected updates to Approved.

Reject: Sets the status of all selected updates to Rejected.

Hold: Sets the status of all selected updates to Held.

Override: Allows you to change parts of the status update.

Select All: Selects all cards in the list.

Clear All: Un-selects all cards in the list.

Status Cards

Activity ID and Name: The ID and name of the activity to which the status update was made.

Email: Click to send an email about the status update.

Discussions: Click to start, read, and add to discussions about the status update.

View More: Click to see the Submitted Date, Held Date, Activity codes and their values, and UDFs and their values for the status update.

Reviewers: Click to see whether the status update can be approved by any one of the assigned reviewers, or must be approved by all assigned reviewers before it is accepted. You can also see the list of assigned reviewers, the reviewers who are required to take action on the status update, and the reviewers who have already approved the status update.

Project: The project of the activity being updated.

WBS: The WBS assigned to the activity being updated.

Submitted User: The name of the user that submitted the status update.

Changed Field Name: The name of the fields that were changed during the status update.

Old: The value of the field prior to the status update.

New: The value of the field selected during the status update.
