Discussion tab - Activity Details
When connected to a P6 EPPM database: If your team members are using P6 Team Member Web or P6 for iOS app, use the Discussion tab to communicate with them about an activity. You can ask questions, respond to questions, and post general information that is specific to an activity. The messages to and from team members are saved with the activities and can be referred back to at a later time.
When connected to a P6 Professional database: Use the discussion tab to communicate about an activity. You can ask questions, respond to questions, and post general information that is specific to an activity. The messages to and from users are saved with the activities and can be referred back to at a later time.
Show: Determines how the messages are displayed. You can display all the messages sent and received, only the messages sent by you, or only the messages sent from other users, those using P6 Professional or those using P6 Team Member Web or P6 for iOS app when you are connected to a P6 EPPM database.
Sort: Determines the order in which the messages are displayed. You can sort by newest to oldest or oldest to newest.
Comments: Displays messages about the selected activity. All of the activity's resources can view these comments. To add messages, enter them in the text box. Only users with the Add/Edit Activities Except Relationships privilege can post a comment.
Text box: Type your message into the text box. Each comment has a 4000 character length maximum.
Post: Adds your message from the text box to the Comments field.
