Recovery:

1. Identify the affected vSTP MP and capture PDU-pool utilization for both ANSI and ITU pools.
2. Correlate the onset with ingress traffic, CPU utilization, MP availability, and other congestion/resource alarms.
3. Compare the affected MP with peer MPs. A single-MP condition suggests an MP or traffic-distribution issue; a site-wide condition suggests offered load is exceeding capacity.
4. Restore any failed/degraded MP or correct abnormal traffic distribution through approved operational procedures.
5. Confirm utilization falls below the applicable clear threshold and the alarm clears.
6. If utilization remains high or recurs, retain KPI/alarm evidence and engage My Oracle Support. Do not change buffer sizing without an approved product recovery procedure.
