11.4 Configuring Custom Dictionary for DESS Related AVPs

Perform the following procedure to configure DESS (Diameter End-to-End Security) related AVP in custom dictionary:
  1. From the main menu of Active SOAM , navigate to Diameter, AVP Dictionary.
  2. Add Vendors Configure Vendor Name with GSMA and Vendor Id.
  3. From AVP dictionary, click Insert.
  4. Configure AVP DESS-Signing-Identity:
    1. AVP code: 1003
    2. Vendor ID: 46304
    3. Data type: DiameterIdentity
    4. Protocol: 3GPP
  5. Configure AVP DESS-System-Time:
    1. AVP code:1002
    2. Vendor ID: 46304
    3. Data type: Time
    4. Protocol: 3GPP
  6. Configure AVP DESS Digital Signature Type:
    1. AVP code: 1004
    2. Vendor ID: 46304
    3. Data type: Enumerated
    4. Protocol: 3GPP
  7. Configure AVP DESS Digital-Signature:
    1. AVP code: 1001
    2. Vendor ID: 46304
    3. Data type: OctetString
    4. Protocol: 3GPP
  8. Configure AVP DESS Signature
    1. AVP code: 1000
    2. Vendor ID: 46304
    3. Data type :Grouped
    4. Add child AVPs
      1. DESS System Time
      2. DESS Signing Identity
      3. DESS Digital Signature Type
      4. DESS Digital Signature
    5. Protocol: 3GPP
