7.2 Communication with SDS

G-Flex is enhanced to integrate directly with an SDS (Subscriber Database System) for subscriber lookups. In deployments where SDS is enabled, G-Flex can submit queries using MSISDN or IMSI to obtain the HLR information required for call or session routing and related processing.

In the SDS-based flow, SDS returns the HLR identifier, referred to as the Network Entity ID, associated with the provided MSISDN or IMSI. G-Flex then resolves this identifier to the corresponding HLR routing information required for further processing, such as addressing and related HLR parameters, and continues processing seamlessly.
