3 Feature Descriptions
This chapter describes the features for the 9.3.0.0.0 release.
3.1 Release 9.3.1.0.0
This chapter introduces the new features or feature enhancements for DSR, vSTP, VNFM, and UDR.
3.1.1 DSR Features
The following DSR features are implemented in release 9.3.1.0.0:
- TACACS+ CLI Authentication: TACACS+ (Terminal Access Controller Access-Control System Plus) authentication is now supported for DSR Command Line Interface (CLI) users, enabling secure CLI access. - Oracle Certificate Lifecycle Manager: Oracle Communications Lifecycle Management (OCLM) provides a VM-based certificate lifecycle service for requesting and renewing certificates from an Operator Certificate Authority (Operator CA). OCLM is used in the DSD/SDS certificate lifecycle environment and must be configured with the customer DSD/SDS deployment and Operator CA. - Support to X.509 certificates for authentication and encryption of all DSR/SDS inter-server interfaces.
3.1.2 vSTP Features
The following vSTP features are implemented in release 9.3.1.0.0:
- Common Screening List : This feature extends the existing vSTP Common Screening List (CSL) framework so GPORT and GFLEX service processing can be gated using incoming linkset, CDPA address, and CGPA address after SCCP service selection. - SFAPP enhancement to Store Subscriber Information on ATI Timeout: The Store Subscriber Information SFAPP option controls whether vSTP stores subscriber and VLR data in the UDR when an ATI request to HLR times out and the configured SFAPP default action is Fallback.
