A.20 Workaround for Alarms 31214 and 14152 After an Upgrade
Error:
After upgrading the SDS topology, the SDS NOAM may report alarms 31214 and 14152—Import Transfer Failed.
Workaround:
The active SDS NOAM and the configured Remote Import Host may no longer have valid SSH trust information, causing these alarms.
Perform the following procedure to refresh the Remote Import configuration and restore import functionality:
- Log in to the active SDS Noam GUI.
- Navigate to SDS, Configuration, and Options field.
- Uncheck the box to disable the Remote Import Enabled field, and click Apply.
- Enter the password in the Remote Import Password field.
- Check the box to re-enable the Remote Import Enabled field and click Apply.
Verification
Disabling and re-enabling Remote Import Enabled field refreshes the SSH key exchange and trust information between the active SDS NOAM and the Remote Import Host.
Verify that alarms 31214 and 14152 are cleared, and confirm that bulk import is functioning.
Note:
If the alarms do not clear, verify the Remote Import Host IP address, Remote Import User, and Remote Import Password. Also, confirm that the Remote Import Host is reachable from the active SDS NOAM.
