What's New in the PeopleSoft Online Help

The new PeopleSoft Online Help is optimized for mobile devices using responsive web design, featuring a look and feel similar to the Fluid User Interface for PeopleSoft Applications.

Fluid User Interface

The PeopleSoft Online Help website features a new banner and icons that complement the colors and design of Fluid homepages and applications.

Note: If you locally install the online help, you can configure a custom background image for the online help homepage.

See Modifying Online Help Style Sheets.

Mobile Devices

The PeopleSoft Online Help website uses responsive web design techniques to alter the layout for any sized screen, from desktop monitors to smartphones. For example, on smartphones, regions of the page automatically change position to reduce the need to pan and zoom to read a page.

Contents Sidebar

All navigation pages have been replaced with a single navigation tree view that appears in a Contents sidebar on the left side of every help page. You can navigate anywhere in the online help using the Contents sidebar without having to go to a separate navigation page.

See Navigating the PeopleSoft Online Help for more information.

Search

The Search field now appears at the top of the page, below the banner.

See Navigating the PeopleSoft Online Help for more information.

You Are Here

The You Are Here box displays the full path to your location in the help site. This is similar to breadcrumbs, but the items in the path are informational only.

See Navigating the PeopleSoft Online Help for more information.

About This Help, Social Media, and More
