If you have Database Manager permissions, you can delete partitions that are saved as objects on Essbase Server.
You can delete one partition from a database or you can delete all partitions from a database at once.
To delete a partition:
From Enterprise View or a custom view, select a database.
Under the database node, expand the Partitions node and select a partition.
Right-click, and select Delete partition.
To delete all partitions in a database:
From Enterprise View or a custom view, select a database.
Under the database node, select the Partitions node.
Right-click, and select Delete all partitions.
