Using XBRL Footnotes in Text Objects and Text Cells
XBRL instance documents can contain footnotes. Footnotes are textual information about one numerical or text fact. This fact may be in a grid’s text cell or text object. In order to associate a footnote, the line item must be previously mapped.
To associate text from a text object to an XBRL fact in another text object.
Select the text object.
In the property sheet, select XBRL Footnote, Associate with a, then select the location of the XBRL Fact associated with this footnote.
Text cells in grids can contain footnotes also.
To associate a footnote to a text object:
Select the cell text.
In the Cell Properties sheet, select Text Object, then select the text object from the list.
Note: | The text shown in the list represents the first 30 characters of all the text objects currently defined in the report. |
