This image is a screen capture of Step 2 of the Create Link Aggregation wizard. The Link Aggregation Mode has two options, Trunk and Datalink Multipathing (DLMP). Trunk is selected. The Load Balancing Policy has three options: L2, L3, and L4, which is the default. Each option has an explanation: L2 determines the outgoing link by hashing the MAC header of each packet, L3 determines the outgoing link by hashing the IP header of each packet, and L4 determines the outgoing link by hashing the TCP, UDP, or other ULP header of each packet. The LACP Mode has three options: Passive, Active, and Off. Passive is the default. The LACP Timer has two options: Short and Long. Short is the default. The MAC Address Policy has two options: Auto and Fixed. Auto is the default. When Fixed is selected, it enables the MAC Address text field.
