The Thematic Map component uses Oracle's MapViewer (11.1.1.7.2 or greater) to display the map. Studio includes framework settings to configure the connection to MapViewer.
By default, Studio is configured to use the public instance of MapViewer. If you are using that instance, and your browser has access to the Internet, then you should not need to make any configuration changes.
Studio includes the following framework settings related to the MapViewer connection. If you are using your own instance of MapViewer, or if your Web browser does not have Internet access, then you will need to change these settings.
