Configuring the welcome message
Important: The Oracle Eloqua WeChat app has been removed from the Oracle Cloud Marketplace and is no longer available for download. For customers with the app enabled, the app will remain active in its current form until December 1, 2022, after which the app will be sunset and no longer be available for use.
When a user scans your QR code to follow your WeChat official account, a welcome message is displayed. You can configure a welcome message in the WeChat platform and you can configure a welcome message in the Eloqua-WeChat Integrator app that includes a link to a registration landing page. Your Eloqua-WeChat Integrator app welcome can be a plain text or a rich media message.
You can design a registration landing page that can receive followers' WeChat public information and then include its URL in your welcome message. If you select the welcome message's Track option and a follower clicks the link, an Eloqua landing page is displayed and the follower’s WeChat public info automatically populates the registration form.
New followers will receive welcome messages from both the WeChat platform and Eloqua unless you disable one of them. To avoid sending Eloqua-WeChat Integrator app welcome messages for a specific QR code, disable its Welcome Message Sending option.
