Flagging contacts to receive plain-text emails
With Oracle Eloqua, you can flag contacts to ensure that they always receive the plain-text version of emails.
Note: Plain-text emails do not include a tracking pixel. Without a tracking pixel, you can only view engagement metrics if a link is clicked.
To flag a contact to receive plain-text emails:

Navigate to Audience , then click Contacts.
- Open the contact you want to update.
- Click the Preferences tab to modify the contact's email preferences.
- Click Send Text Only to flag the contact to receive only plain-text emails.
- Click Save to save the change.
