User management

Oracle Eloqua provides a number of tools that administrators can use to manage users, secure user logins, and secure what users can do within Oracle Eloqua.

Defining user access involves the following:

  • Users: Users are those who have access to Oracle Eloqua. Users are uniquely identified by their user name and are assigned to one or more security groups.
  • Security groups: Security groups manage what users can do within Oracle Eloqua. Security groups allow granular control of user licensing, UI access, and asset permissions.

As a best practice, administrators will give users access to information relevant only to the roles and responsibilities of those users within their organization. Oracle Eloqua makes it easy to manage and limit the responsibilities of your users, and this contributes to the overall security of your business processes.
