Enterprise Roles are assigned to users to enforce security.
There are three Enterprise Roles used for Human Capital Management in OTBI Enterprise users, and three for Administrators and Implementors. An administrator must create and assign these roles in My Services. For more information about creating roles in My Services, see Adding a Custom Enterprise Role.
Required Enterprise Roles
The table below describes the Enterprise Roles required to secure OTBI Enterprise for Human Capital Management, including the Display Name and Role Name for each used when creating them and the Subject Areas and Web Catalog folders they provide access to. The Business Intelligence Service Administrator role inherits all of the Business Intelligence Content Administrator role’s subject area access, and additionally is given access to the administration Tools links to Configuration Manager, Service Console, and ODI Console in the Answers home page. Access to the Configuration Manager and ODI Console are provided by the BIACM Access Role.
