Provisioning a User With Access to BI Cloud Connector Console

Use these steps to provide additional users access to the BI Cloud Connector Console. BI Cloud Connector Console is an implementor tool used to set up OTBI Enterprise.

For Fusion Applications HCM Cloud Release 9.2, the SR that you create to deploy the BI Cloud Connector Console performs the setup for the identified user; these steps are needed only if additional users need to access the console. For Release 10, you need to create and provision this user as part of your deployment.

Note:

You provision BI Cloud Connector Console users in the Fusion Applications APM environment, that is, not in the OTBI-Enterprise environment.

To provision a user for BI Cloud Connector access:

  1. Create a new user in Fusion Applications, or use an existing user in Fusion Applications.
  2. Using Oracle Authorization Policy Manager (APM), assign the following to the new or existing user:
    • ESSAPP stripe, Application role – ESSAdmin (this is for the ability to schedule and monitor the BI connector ESS jobs)

    • OBI stripe, Enterprise Role – ASM_APPLICATION_IMPLEMENTATION_ADMIN_ABSTRACT (this is for the ability to access BICCC user interface)
