Copying and Moving Tasks

  To copy or move tasks:

  1. Open the Manage Task Lists page.

    See Managing Task Lists.

  2. Perform an action:

    To copy tasks:

    1. Select a task list, then select Actions, and then select Edit.

    2. Select the task to copy, and then click Save As.

    3. Enter the name for the new task list.

    4. Click OK.

    To move tasks:

    1. Select a task list, then select Actions, and then select Edit Task List.

    2. Select a task, then select Actions, and then select Edit Tasks.

    3. Select the task that will be a child of another task, then select Actions, and then select Cut.

    4. Select the task that will be the parent task, then select Actions, and then select Paste.

    5. Click Save.

    To cut and paste tasks:

    1. Select a task list, and then click Edit.

    2. Select a task, and then click Cut.

    3. To move the task to a new position, select the task to appear above it.

    4. Click Paste.

    5. Click OK.

  3. Click Close.
