Configuring the Essbase Server

  To configure the Essbase Server:

1. In the Data Source wizard navigation frame, click 3. Essbase Server Details.

   To start the wizard, see Starting the Data Source Wizard.

2. Update the server details:

   • Essbase server name

     You can list the Essbase server name along with the part number, for example, localhost:1423.

   • Essbase user name

   • Essbase password

3. Optional: Click Test Connection to test the connection to the Essbase server.

4. Click Next and continue with Viewing Summary Details.
