If a relationship is not defined for a dimension on the destination application, one member needs to be identified to complete the linking process. This member is used to complete each data point intersection at synchronization execution time.
To assign default members:-
In the Destination application in which you want to assign a default member, right-click a dimension that has not been mapped.

The Pick Member dialog box is displayed.

Select the member to assign as the default, and click OK.
A green check mark is displayed next to the dimension of the default member.
Note:
To remove a default member, right-click the dimension that contains the default member, and select Remove Default Member. If you cannot find a member, you can search for members in the Pick Member dialog box. For information on searching for members, see Searching for Members Using the Member Selector.
