Customize the Appearance of Live Experience

It's easy to customize Oracle Live Experience to match your corporate branding requirements.

And you'll probably want to customize the appearance and branding of Live Experience, so that your customers know that they're dealing directly with you and not a third-party service.

You can customize the appearance and branding in the following interfaces:

  • For your customers, customize the appearance of the widget for your Live Experience applications and of the Live Experience Meetings application.

  • For your customers, customize the appearance and branding of the Meetings application interface.

  • For your associates, customize the appearance and branding of the Associate Desktop.

  • For your administrators, customize the appearance and branding of the Admin Console.

  • For your associates and administrators, customize the appearance and branding of automated email messages (that they receive when they are onboarded, or change or reset their passwords), login page, and diagnostics screen.

You customize the appearance and branding in Live Experience using the Live Experience Admin Console. Go to one of the following URLs to get started:

  • https://live.oraclecloud.com/ui?tenant=your_tenant_name

    or, for EMEA customers

  • https://emea.live.oraclecloud.com/ui?tenant=your_tenant_name

The process to localize or customize the appearance of Live Experience is simple:

  1. Using the Admin Console, find the branding page for the interface you want to customize.

    • For the widget of one of your Live Experience applications or the Meetings application, select Applications from the navigation menu, then select the application from the dropdown menu, and then select the Branding tab.

    • For the Meetings application interface, select Settings from the navigation menu, then select the Branding tab, and then select Customize General Branding.

    • For the Associate Desktop, select Settings from the navigation menu, then select the Branding tab, and then select Customize Associate Desktop Branding.

    • For the Admin Console, select Settings from the navigation menu, then select the Branding tab, and then select Localize Administration.

    • For the automated email messages, login screen, and diagnostics screen, select Settings from the navigation menu, then select the Branding tab, and then select Customize General Branding.

  2. Make whatever changes are necessary and click Save.

The Branding pages are enhanced with a preview so that you can see how the changes you are making will appear when you save your changes.

Note:

To change the text in the headers (the titles and subtitles), you have to customize the text strings for the appropriate interface. See Customize and Localize the Messages and Text in Live Experience.

Hands On: Branding the Live Experience Meeting App

This example explains how to customize the appearance of the Live Experience meeting app.

You can easily customize Live Experience Admin Console, Associate Desktop, and meeting app by:

  • Choosing a custom graphic or logo

  • Choosing a custom background color

As you adjust the options, you'll see a dynamically updated preview.

To customize the appearance of the Live Experience meeting app:

  1. Open the Live Experience Admin Console. Go to either:

    • https://live.oraclecloud.com/ui?tenant=your_tenant_name

      or, for EMEA customers

    • https://emea.live.oraclecloud.com/ui?tenant=your_tenant_name

  2. From the navigation menu, select Settings, then select Customize General Branding.

  3. Do any of the following:

    • Set a custom logo by entering a URL to a graphic file you'd like to use in the Custom Logo URL text box.

    • Choose a custom header background color using the color picker.

  4. Finally, to save your changes, click Save.

Now, the next time your associates or your customer access the Live Experience meeting app, they'll see your customized branding.

Hands On: Customizing the Live Experience Application Widget

This example explains how to customize the appearance of the Live Experience widget, sometimes called the web component or mobile component, that is displayed to your customers on your websites and mobile apps.

  1. Open the Live Experience Admin Console. Go to either:

    • https://live.oraclecloud.com/ui?tenant=your_tenant_name

      or, for EMEA customers

    • https://emea.live.oraclecloud.com/ui?tenant=your_tenant_name

  2. Select Applications from the navigation menu, then select the application from the dropdown menu, and then select the Branding tab.

  3. Configure any of the many configuration options. For example:

    • Set the position and layout of the widget on the customer's screen.

    • Select colors for buttons and for text on buttons on the widget.

  4. Click Save.
