Apply a Google Analytics account to your VSML tab.

If you already know your Google Analytics tracking code, you may paste it into the Advanced Options section when creating a new VSML tab, or go into the settings for an existing tab and paste the tracking code into the field, and Save or Update. (See which metrics from your VSML tab will be tracked through your Google Analytics account below.)

To create a Google Analytics account, follow the instructions below:

1. Go to http://analytics.google.com
2. Sign-in
3. Click on Admin
4. Click on “New Account”
5. Complete this section with the following information
1. Account Name
2. For Website URL, select “Not a Website” from drop down menu
3. Time Zone
4. Industry Category
5. Uncheck boxes in the Data Sharing Settings section
6. Agree to Terms and Conditions
7. Create Account
6. In the Tracking Code tab, find and copy your Tracking ID
7. Go to the Social Apps section of your AMP account.
8. Click on Add New Tab underneath the Facebook page to which you wish to add the VSML tab. (If you already have a tab created, go to step 9)
1. Complete the settings as instructed in our Visual SML Set-Up Guide
2. Paste your Google Analytics tracking code into the appropriate field in the Advanced Options section.
3. Save (see image to the right)
