The figure shows a configuration consisting of an Access Tier (top), Network Tier (Middle) and Database Tier (bottom). There are 2 servers in the Access Tier, 2 servers in the Network Tier and redundant databases in the Database Tier.

There are two switches, Switch A and Switch B, connecting the servers in the Access Tier to those in the Network Tier. Entering at the top of the diagram is a Load Balancer with Failover.

At the bottom of the diagram is the telecom network Node.

Outside the main configuration and connecting to it are a PRM Server and an Administration Server.
