This document describes the enhancements that are introduced and the Access Service Ordering Guidelines (ASOG) issues that have been implemented in Oracle Communications MetaSolv Solution Access Service Request (ASR) 54.

Data Conversions

The ASR54BD.sql file is included in this release. The installer provides all upgrades to MetaSolv Solution executable files and stored procedure files (Procs directory).

Software Support

MetaSolv Solution 6.3.0.x supports ASR 54 on the following software versions:

  • Oracle Enterprise Linux Server 6.6 (or later) and 7.0 (or later)

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6.6 (or later) and 7.0 (or later)

  • Oracle Solaris 11

  • IBM AIX 7.1

  • HP-UX Itanium 11i v3

  • Windows Server 2012 R2

  • Oracle WebLogic Server 12.2.1.2

  • Oracle Database 12c R1

  • JacORB 3.8

MetaSolv Solution 6.2.1.x supports ASR 54 on the following software versions:

  • Oracle Linux Server release 5.5 (Carthage)

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5

  • Oracle Solaris 10 update 5/08 or higher (on a SPARC machine)

  • AIX 6.1 or higher (on a POWER6 machine)

  • HP-UX 11.23 or higher (on an Itanium machine. 32-bit and 64-bit JAVA supported)

  • Windows Server 2008 R2

  • Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.1

  • Oracle Database 11g R2

  • JacORB 2.3.1

Product Enhancements

This section describes new enhancements in ASR 54.

New Fields

Contact Section of the ASR Form

ASOG Issues Implemented

Table 1 describes the Access Service Ordering Guidelines (ASOG) issues that have been implemented in this release.

The valid entry changes and valid entry notes changes for the General Exchange Tariff Options Code (GETO) field have been implemented in the Multipoint Service Legs (MSL) form.

Added the following new fields in the Contact Section:

  • Site Contact (SITE CON)

  • Site Contact Telephone Number TEL NO (SITE CON)

  • Site Contact Electronic Mail Address (SITE EMAIL)

The UI and API usage validation changes have been implemented for the following fields:

  • The Inside Wire Billing Account Number (IWBAN) field in the Bill Section.

  • The General Exchange Tariff Options Billing Telephone Number (GBTN) field in the Transport, MSL, and Switched Ethernet Services (SES) forms.

  • The GBTN (PRILOC) and GBTN (SECLOC) fields in the End User Special Access (EUSA) form.

The valid entry changes and valid entry notes changes have been implemented for the following fields:

  • The General Exchange Tariff Options Code (GETO) field in the Transport, MSL, and SES forms.

  • The GETO (PRILOC) and GETO (SECLOC) fields in the EUSA form.

The UI and API usage validation changes and definition changes have been implemented for the OTC - Other Exchange Company (Terminating) (EVC) field in the Ethernet Virtual Connection (EVC) form.

The definition note for the existing Jack Number (JK NUM) field has been modified in the Service Address Location Information (SALI) form.
