crsctl stop ip

Use the crsctl stop ip command to stop a given IP name or IP address on a specified interface with a specified subnet mask. Run this command on the server on which you want to stop the IP.

Syntax

crsctl stop ip -A {IP_name | IP_address}/interface_name

Parameters

Parameter	Description
{IP_name \| IP_address}	Specify either a domain name or an IP address. If you do not specify a fully-qualified domain name, then CRSCTL uses a standard name search.
interface_name	Specify an interface on which to start the IP.

Example

To stop an IP on the local server, run the command similar to the following:
