DNFS_READBUFFERS parameter lets you control the number of read buffers used by the Direct NFS Client. The Direct NFS Client is an API that can be implemented by file servers to allow improved performance when Oracle accesses files on those servers.
Syntax and Description
The syntax is as follows:
DNFS_READBUFFERS = n
Using values larger than the default might compensate for inconsistent I/O from the Direct NFS Client file server, but it may result in increased memory usage.
To use this parameter without also specifying the
DNFS_ENABLE parameter, the input file must be larger than 1 GB.
