The figure shows how TimesTen Scaleout distributes the data into the elements of the two remaining data instances for the customers table, which uses a hash distribution scheme. The data that was previously stored in the element of the host5.instance1 data instance and its replica is now stored in the elements of the host3.instance1 and host4.instance1 data instances and their respective replicas.
