Deleting a Data Masking Rule

Delete one or more data masking rules in Cloud Guard.

    1. Open the navigation menu  and select Identity & Security. Under Cloud Guard, select Configuration.
    2. On the Configuration page, select Data masking.
    3. Select the checkbox next to one or more rules that you want to delete.
    4. Select Delete.
    5. In the Delete masking rules dialog box, select Delete.

    Use the oci cloud-guard data-mask-rule delete command and required parameters to delete a data masking rule:

    oci cloud-guard data-mask-rule delete --data-mask-rule-id <data_mask_rule_ocid> [OPTIONS]
  • Run the DeleteDataMaskRule operation to delete a data masking rule.
