Using FIDO Authentication

Use a device to enroll your device for passwordless FIDO authentication in IAM.

FIDO authentication must be activated by the domain administrator. See, Configuring FIDO Authenticator.

FIDO gives users the ability to use passwordless authentication using biometrics, such as a fingerprint, or Yubikeys.

Select the Profile menu (), which is on the upper-right side of the navigation bar at the top of the page, and then click My profile. In the My profile console, click Security.
In the 2-step verification, under Fast ID (FIDO) authenticator, click Configure.
Click Confirm to continue to configure FIDO authentication.

IDCS opens in a new window or tab.
Under FIDO Authenticator, click Configure.
Select the location to save the passkey, for example a phone or Yubikey.
Close the window or tab.
Click Close.
Refresh the page, and then click Security. The FIDO authentication is now displayed.
