Creating an Artifact

Use Publisher to create an artifact type and provide the details.

1. On the Artifacts list page, select Create artifact. If you need help finding the list page, see Viewing Artifacts.
2. In the Create Artifact page, enter the following information:
  
  Artifact Name: Enter a name for the artifact.
  
  Compartment: Select the compartment where you want to create this artifact.
  
  Artifact Type: Select the artifact type as Container Image, Helm Chart, Compute Image, or Terraform Stack.
  
  If you select Container Image as the artifact type, in the Browse all containers page, select a compartment from the list. From the displayed compartments, select a compartment where you want the artifact to be created. You can select only one compartment for an artifact.
  
  Select Update. The registry URL is now selected and visible in the Container Image section.
3. To confirm that you have reviewed and applied all the mandatory guidelines for containers, select the button that appears at the end of the page.
4. Select Create artifact.
Use the oci marketplace-publisher artifact create command and required parameters to create an artifact:
oci marketplace-publisher artifact create --artifact-type --compartment-id ... [OPTIONS]

Run the CreateArtifact operation to create an artifact.
