Editing a DRG NAT Rule

Edit a DRG NAT rule to change its match criteria, translated CIDRs, or priority.

Before you update a rule, confirm that the change doesn't disrupt active traffic flows that still depend on translated addressing or translated routes.

    1. On the DRG NAT policies list page, select the DRG NAT policy that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page or the DRG NAT policy, see Listing DRG NAT Policies.
      The DRG NAT policy's details page opens.
    2. Select Rules.
      The Rules page opens. All rules associated with the DRG NAT policy are listed in a table.
    3. From the Actions menu (three dots) for the DRG NAT rule, select Edit.
      The Edit DRG NAT rule panel opens.
    4. Update the settings as needed. For descriptions of the settings, see Adding a DRG NAT Rule.
    5. Select Update.
  • Create a JSON file such as update-drg-nat-rules.json:

    [
      {
        "id": "4",
        "drgNatRulePriority": 3
      },
      {
        "id": "10",
        "originalDestination": "192.168.0.0/24",
        "translatedDestination": "10.0.0.0/24"
      }
    ]

    Use the oci network drg-nat-rule update command and required parameters to edit the DRG NAT rules associated with a DRG NAT policy:

    oci network drg-nat-rule update --drg-nat-policy-id <drg_nat_policy_ocid> --rules file://update-drg-nat-rules.json [OPTIONS]

    For a complete list of parameters and values for CLI commands, see the CLI Command Reference.
