Canceling a Job

Cancel a running job in Resource Manager.

    1. Open the navigation menu and click Developer Services. Under Resource Manager, click Stacks.
    2. Choose a compartment that you have permission to work in (on the left side of the page).
    3. Click the name of the stack that you want.
      The Stack details page opens.
    4. Click Cancel job.
      The Cancel job dialog box is displayed.
    5. If the job is for Import state, Apply, or Destroy, then select the option you want:

      Resource Manager attempts to cancel the job gracefully. Internally, the running Terraform process signals the child processes to terminate. The job might execute partially depending on the responses of the child processes, even though the ultimate job status is Canceled.

      Force the job to cancel now

      Forces the job to cancel.

      Note: Forcing a job to cancel might cause a mismatch between the state file and the actual resource states.

    6. Click Yes, cancel job.
