Moving a Tag Namespace to a Different Compartment

Move a tag namespace from one compartment to another.

    1. On the Tag namespaces list page, find the namespace that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Tag Namespaces.
    2. From the Actions menu for the tag namespace, select Move tag namespace.
    3. In the Move resource dialog box, select the destination compartment.
    4. Select Move tag namespace.

  • Use the change-compartment command and required parameters to move the tag namespace to the specified compartment:

    oci iam tag-namespace change-compartment [OPTIONS]
