Retiring a Tag Namespace

Retire a tag namespace using the Console, CLI, or API.

    1. On the Tag namespaces list page, find the namespace that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Tag Namespaces.
    2. From the Actions menu for the tag namespace, select Retire tag namespace.
    3. In the Retire tag namespace dialog box, select Retire.

  • Use the retire command and required parameters to retire the tag namespace:

    oci iam tag-namespace retire [OPTIONS]

  • To retire or reactivate a tag namespace, use UpdateTagNamespace operation.
