Limitations

  1. After adding the node, the cluster admin must manually update the OCI Load Balancer host entry in the newly added nodes. Applicable to all the node additions to a cluster. For example: Worker node, Compute Only, Edge node.
  2. For Ranger HA with an external OCI Load Balancer with SSL, when the certificate is rotated in dataplane (done every six months by the Cluster admin), the certificate must be manually updated to the Load Balancer. This step ensures the Load Balancer isn't using stale certificates and avoids health check/communication failures to backend sets. To update an expired certificate, see Update SSL Certificate.
