Verifying and Accessing Apache Solr

Note

This step is only applicable if your Big Data Service cluster version is 3.0.3 or earlier. The Big Data Service Version is displayed on the Cluster Information tab of the Cluster details page.
  1. Access Apache Ambari.
  2. From the side toolbar, under Services select Infra Solr.
  3. Select Actions, and then select Run Service Check.
  4. From the Quick Links section, select Solr Admin UI. If this doesn't work, you might need to update the IP address in etc/hosts. Alternatively, you can access the Solr Admin UI using the following URL. You would not be required to provide sign in credentials. In case you're prompted for credentials, you can use ranger.audit.solr.username for username and ranger.audit.solr.password for password. These values are provided in step 6 of Configuring Apache Ranger in Apache Ambari.
