Getting a Certificate Authority's Details

View the details of a certificate authority (CA).

Viewing certificate authority details can help you understand the current overall state of a certificate authority and help you decide what to do with it.
  • On the Certificate Authorities list page, select the certificate authority that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page or the certificate authority, see Listing Certificate Authorities.

    The certificate authority's details page opens. The details page displays the following information:

    • OCID: The unique, Oracle-assigned ID of the certificate authority.
    • Key OCID: The unique, Oracle-assigned ID of the key pair that you specified when you created the certificate authority.
    • Created: The date and time when you initially created the certificate.
    • Signature Algorithm: The signature algorithm of the certificate authority certificate key.
    • Certificate Authority Type: Whether the certificate authority is a root certificate authority or a subordinate certificate authority.
    • Compartment: The name of the compartment that contains the certificate.
    • Date of Expiry of Current Version: The date and time when the version marked as the current version is no longer valid.
  • Use the oci certs-mgmt certificate-authority get command and required parameters to view a certificate authority's details:

    oci certs-mgmt certificate-authority get --certificate-authority-id <CA_OCID> [OPTIONS]

    For example:

    oci certs-mgmt certificate-authority get --certificate-authority-id ocid1.certificateauthority.oc1.<region>.<unique_id>
