Terminating Instances

Delete a data catalog instance.

• API

• 1. Open the navigation menu  and select Analytics & AI. Under Data Lake, select Data Catalog.
  2. On the Data Catalogs page, click the Actions menu to the right of the instance that you want to delete and select Terminate.
  3. In the Terminate dialog box, type Delete to confirm the delete of data catalog instance, and then click Terminate.

  The data catalog instance goes into a Deleting state and all the resources in the data catalog are permanently deleted.

• Use the delete command and required parameters to delete a data catalog:

  oci data-catalog catalog delete [OPTIONS]
