Comparing Task Runs

Compare two task runs from the Runs list of an application details page or a task details page in a Data Integration application.

You can compare only runs that are of the same task type.

  1. On the Applications list page, select the name of the application that has the task runs that you want to compare. If you need help finding the list page or the application, see Listing Applications.
  2. On the application details page, perform one of the following actions:
    • To view all the runs for all the tasks, select Runs.
    • To view the runs for a specific task, select Tasks and then select the name of the task. On the task details page, select Runs.
  3. In the Runs section of the application details or task details page, use the checkboxes in the first column of the list to select the two task runs that you want to compare.
  4. Select Compare.

    The Runs comparison page provides a color key to differentiate task runs, and shows the following information side by side for the task runs you selected:

    • Details: A description of basic information and metrics for each task, such as task type, run status, run duration, and the amount of data processed.
    • Performance: A performance bar chart view of the task runs. The bars are color-coded according to the color key. The bars show the total time taken to complete the runs, and the amount of data processed from the data sources.
  5. Select a task run name to navigate to the details page of the run.
