Exadata Infrastructure

Deleting Exadata VM Cluster and Autonomous VM Cluster are prerequisites to delete an Exadata Infrastructure. We recommend taking a backup of your databases before deleting the Exadata VM Cluster and Autonomous VM Cluster to prevent any potential data loss.

  • Disable Exascale Storage on an Exadata Infrastructure

    1. From the Oracle AI Database@AWS dashboard, select Exadata infrastructures.

    2. Select the Exadata Infrastructure that you want to deconfigure Exascale Storage from it.

    3. Select the Actions button, and then select the Disable Exascale Storage option.

      1. From the Disable Exascale storage page, select the Disable button to confirm the action.

      Note

      Note: Disabling removes the Exascale storage from the Exadata Infrastructure. After you disable it, you can’t create Exadata Dedicated storage vaults on this Exadata Infrastructure.

    Delete an Exadata Infrastructure

    Note: To delete your Exadata Infrastructure, you have to delete all associated Exadata VM Clusters and Exadata Exascale Storage Vault. For more information, see Exadata VM Cluster and Exadata Exascale Storage Vault.

    1. From the Oracle AI Database@AWS dashboard, select Exadata infrastructures.

    2. Select the Exadata Infrastructure that you want to delete.

    3. Select the Actions button, and then select the Delete option.

    4. To confirm your action, you must enter delete me in the field, and then select the Delete button.
