Autonomous Database

Oracle recommends taking a backup of your databases before deleting an Autonomous Database to prevent any potential data loss.

1. From the Azure portal, select Oracle Database@Azure.
2. From the left menu, select Oracle Autonomous Database Service.
3. From the Oracle Autonomous Database Service list, select your Autonomous Database that you want to delete, and then select the Delete button.
4. From the Delete Resources page, complete the following substeps:
  1. Enter delete in the confirmation field.
  2. Select the Delete button to confirm it.
Autonomous Database deletion is only available through the Azure Portal and Azure CLI.
