Autonomous Database
Oracle recommends taking a backup of your databases before deleting an Autonomous Database to prevent any potential data loss.
- From the Azure portal, select Oracle Database@Azure.
- From the left menu, select Oracle Autonomous Database Service.
- From the Oracle Autonomous Database Service list, select your Autonomous Database that you want to delete, and then select the Delete button.

- From the Delete Resources page, complete the following substeps:
- Enter delete in the confirmation field.
- Select the Delete button to confirm it.

Autonomous Database deletion is only available through the Azure Portal and Azure CLI.
