Base Database
Oracle recommends taking a backup of your databases before deleting a Base Database to prevent any potential data loss.
- These are the steps to delete a Base Database.
- From the Azure portal, select Oracle Database@Azure.
- For the left menu, select Oracle Base Database Service, and then select the database that you want to delete.
- Select the Delete button.
- From the Delete Resources page, you must enter delete in the field to confirm the action, and then select the Delete button.
- Base Database
- From the OCI console, select Oracle AI Database, and then select Oracle Base Database Service.
- From the left menu, select DB Systems, and then select the Databases tab. Select the database that you want to delete.
- Select the Actions button and then select the Terminate option from the list.
- Enter the name of the DB system to confirm the termination.
- Select the Terminate button.
