Oracle Alloy Marketplace
Dedicated Cloud Marketplace operates on Oracle Alloy through an approved and curated model. Marketplace content is limited to supported Oracle and partner listings that are approved for Oracle Alloy deployment. The offering is not a copy of the full public OCI Marketplace catalog, and listing availability is governed by Oracle Alloy-specific support, approval, and deployment constraints.
Marketplace in Oracle Alloy provides a controlled way to deploy approved Oracle-created software listings and supported self-published Windows and Red Hat software. The experience operates similarly to OCI Marketplace in the public cloud, but approved publishers and listings are limited for business, legal, and regulatory reasons.
Oracle Alloy supports Oracle-created Marketplace listings, including free, Bring Your Own License (BYOL), and paid listings that use Universal Credit Model (UCM) consumption. These listings can include Oracle software that is not console-native, such as Oracle WebLogic Server.
Oracle Alloy also supports self-published Windows and Red Hat software for license management. This self-publishing option uses Bring Your Own Image (BYOI) and does not use OCI licensing.
Third-party Marketplace listings and SKUs are not supported in Oracle Alloy. Self-published customer or partner software, custom rate cards, self-published support mechanisms, and white-labeled partner or ISV experiences are also not supported.
Oracle-created listings are enabled as a complete catalog. Individual Oracle listings cannot be enabled or disabled separately. Self-published Windows and Red Hat software can be enabled or removed through the self-publishing flow. Approved listings and SKUs can change over time.
Paid Oracle listings are subject to the applicable commercial terms. Existing Oracle Alloy partners might require a contract addendum before using paid Marketplace listings. A standard Marketplace consumption limit of 5% can apply to paid listings and is set during contract signing. The limit is based on total contract value for the realm, not on a single year or an individual region.
Free and BYOL listings do not have a Marketplace UCM spending limit. UCM allocated for paid Marketplace listings can also be used for other standard consumable Dedicated Cloud SKUs, subject to the partner's contract. Discounts for underlying OCI resources use the Oracle Alloy contract discount. Oracle software license discounts cannot be applied through a paid Marketplace listing, but partners can use the BYOL version when they have an eligible existing license.
No separate country validation is required for Marketplace. Oracle Alloy partners are reviewed before contract signature to confirm that Oracle is authorized to conduct business in the applicable region, and Marketplace is covered by the same review.
This approach lowers adoption friction for supported workloads while preserving operator control over what can be deployed in the environment.
