Approving a Pull Request

Approvers added as reviewers in the pull request can approve a pull request. Approvers can revoke an approval before the pull request is merged. Authors who create the pull request can't approve it.

Reviewers and approval criteria is configured in the PR settings. Email notifications are sent to reviewers based on the PR settings. Reviewers are listed in the PR details page. A check mark displays against the reviewer after the PR approval.

Using the Console

To approve a pull request using the Oracle Cloud Console do the following:
  1. Open the navigation menu and click Developer Services. Under DevOps, click Projects.
  2. Select a project and from the left-side menu, click Code Repositories.
  3. Select a code repository and click the Pull Requests link on the left-side menu.
  4. Select a pull request for which you're the reviewer.
  5. Complete the PR review and click the Approve button.
