Provisioning Resources

Provision cloud-based resources, such as virtual machines (known as Compute instances), storage, and networks, to support the deployment of applications and services in Fleet Application Management.

By combining runbooks with catalog items, Fleet Application Management automates the deployment of infrastructure in a consistent and repeatable manner. You can schedule the runbook to run at a specific time or interval to automate the infrastructure deployment.

You can view, modify, and create configurations dynamically while scheduling or running provisioning requests through runbooks. You can also enable real-time configuration changes without manually altering the source files in Object Storage. See Processing a Runbook.

    1. On the Fleets list page, select the fleet that you want to work with. If you need help finding the Fleets list page or a specific fleet, see Listing Fleets.
    2. Select the Infrastructure management tab.
      All provisioned deployments are displayed in a table.
    3. Select Provision infrastructure to provision resources.

      The runbooks displayed for selecting are specific to provisioning resources.
