Jobs in Fleet Application Management

A job represents a specific instance of maintenance activity, offering insights into progress from the resource grouping and lifecycle operations. It allows you to monitor the progress status at the resource-task level. Also, the job alerts you if any actions are needed regarding the environment or policy set up in the event of a failure.
A job run is the process of carrying out the specified tasks on defined OCI resources or a fleet. After a job is triggered (either manually or based on a schedule), Fleet Application Management starts the job run. You can perform the following actions on jobs and their runs:
- Monitor the progress and status of job runs. You can view runbook process logs and manage job runs, check the status of jobs, and receive notifications about job failures or completions.
- Notifications can be sent through various channels.
