Try Semantic Search

After you create a vector store and add unstructured data to it, you can try semantic search.

Note

This feature only works for vector stores created with unstructured data.
  1. In the list page, select the vector store that you want to try semantic search for. If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Vector Stores.
  2. Select a vector store.
  3. In the Details tab, for the Storage Used (in MB) parameter, select Try semantic search.
  4. For Search Parameters, enter or select the following:
    • Maximum number of search results
    • Whether to enable reranking
    • Whether to enable query rewriting
    • Whether to enable metadata search
  5. Select Search.
