Copying an OCI Cache Configuration

Make a copy of a custom OCI Cache configuration set.

After you create a configuration, it becomes immutable and can't be updated. To update specific fields of a configuration, such as parameters, copy the configuration and make the necessary changes.
    1. On the Configurations list page, select a custom configuration that you to want to work with. If you need help finding the list page or the configuration, see Listing OCI Cache Configurations.
    2. On the configuration's details page, select Copy configuration.
    3. In the Copy configuration panel, specify a name and description for the copy of the configuration. Avoid entering confidential information. Add and modify the configuration.
You can add one or more parameters and their values, delete one or more parameters, or change parameter values.
      Note

You can also select a different cache engine version to upgrade to a later configuration. For field descriptions, see Creating an OCI Cache Configuration.
    4. Select Copy configuration.
Another copy of the configuration is available.
